I have integrated a Google Search Component in my Joomla 2.5.4 and pasted the search form on the header of page so that it could be available on all pages.
But when I search for a result then the result is displayed in very inapproriate area of page, infact it should be displayed in a proper content area.
Answer
1/ Use "Google Search Module" to display your Search box.
2/ Creating a menu item type "Google Search Component" to display your search result page.
